reduced design & belmont hotel
case study: branding | identity | illustration | interior | print design | apparel | menu design
Featuring horizontal lines, rounded corners, and stucco facades, this modern hotel dates from 1946 and is 3 miles from both the Dallas World Aquarium and the American Airlines Center.
The hotel had the bones but needed gut work. Minimalist rooms and retro vibes were our design direction, creating spatial areas young and hip crowds would want to spend their time while away.
belmont hotel - past to present - the details
Incorporating mod design elements and garment details from the ’50s and ’60s framed in a modern shell invited visitors to feel like they were stepping back in time visually. Custom beverage napkins, coasters, matchboxes and service agent attire made that Aviation or Grasshopper cocktail feel relevant again.
